Donald M Gordon Chinguacousy Park

Chinguacousy Park is in the heart of Bramalea and is one of the city’s most valuable resources. With 103 acres of park land this signature park has been the host of community wide events for more than 50 years. With the assistance of 16 million dollars from the federal and provincial governments,  Brampton has committed 24.5 million dollars to renew and enhance the current park facilities and increase the capacity to meet the demands of our community. The character of the park will stay the same but residents will enjoy enhancements to the splash pad, ski chalet, curling rink, tennis club, sports fields and a new waterfront pavilion.

A place for people of all ages a BMX park was recently added to the park facilities. Riding a bike is something you never forget so Gael  and Sandra borrow a bike and join in the fun.

One of the first additions was the new playground equipment which is already attracting a lot of attention from families with toddlers.

Demolition of the Curling Rink was a big job so Gael decided to lend a hand.
